If a parent is considering a place for their child at our school then they should contact the Solihull Council School Admissions Department [Tel. No. 0121 704 6693]. If a place is available parents can arrange with the office manager, Angela Wadeley to look round the school. We have a school prospectus which is also accessible from the website and various other forms which give information about the school.
Admission arrangements for children transferring to Year 3 in September each year are managed by the Local Authority. The standard number for admission is 120 but, at present, there is a linked school [Castle Bromwich Infant School] and a catchment area guarantee of admission for children starting in Year 3.
During the Summer Term a visit is arranged for all our new Year 3 children when they meet their class teacher and see the school. An evening meeting for parents of new children is also organised when teachers will provide information concerning the organisation, curriculum and facilities. Consultation between teachers at the junior and infant schools takes place and appropriate records are passed on.
