Castle Bromwich Junior School

Online learning

Your children should be directed to use the following websites to continue their learning from home. Here is some more information about each of the websites:

TTRS
https://ttrockstars.com/

  • Pupils can access TTRS from home. They should already have a login for this website but if your child has forgotten their login, please contact your child’s class teacher via ClassDojo.
  • The times tables have been set so they are bespoke to the times table your child needs to practice.

Twinkl FREE Access

  1. How do I sign up for the free month?

Step 1: Go to www.twinkl.co.uk/offer. This will be the quickest and easiest way for parents to get set up.

Step 2: Enter the code ‘CVDTWINKLHELPS’

  1. If I've already used the code for the free month, how do I extend it?

No need to do anything - we’ll automatically extend the free access for you.

  1. How can we help parents to use Twinkl?

Twinkl has a number of really helpful guides, designed for parents, for different areas of the curriculum. You can visit the Parents’ Hub which contains hundreds of educational activities designed for use at home.

For primary-aged children, take a look at our 5-11 area. Again, this was created with parents in mind so it’s filled with guides and information about what children should be learning in each year group, for each curriculum area.

Our Parents User Guide and general Twinkl Membership guide are both useful documents to refer to for general information about the site, our content and how to find it.

  1. What can I do to support learning at home?

Using our Home Learning Packs

Our KS2 Home Learning Packs can be found here.

Our SEND Home Learning Pack is available here.

These packs are available as ZIP files. For guidance about how to download and open this type of file, take a look at our FAQ.

We're also putting together Interactive Learning Links resources. These are interactive PDF resources which link to other helpful materials on the Twinkl site that you can use without a printer:

Year 2 -- Year 3 -- Year 4 -- Year 5 -- Year 6

We've also added a new feature to our app, where you can annotate PDFs in the app with any info you like.
