Hair Donated To Charity

Over the Christmas holidays I came to the conclusion that my hair was getting to long so I asked my parents if I could have it cut short. My mom said yes and suggested that I could donate my hair to the charity “The Little Princess Trust” that helps little girls who are going through cancer treatment with wigs made from real hair and with that in mind my mom booked me an appointment in January with one of the local hairdressers. On January the 18th I arrived at the hairdressers and met with the stylist who was cutting my hair. After an initial consultation on the style I wanted they washed and plaited my hair. Then the big moment with a few snips of the scissors about 14 inches / 35.6 cm of my hair was removed. My hair then was placed in a mailing bag ready for posting to the charity. (by Kari Lawler).
