Nurture at CBJS
At Castle Bromwich Junior School, our Nurture Ambassadors proudly exemplify compassion, responsibility, and leadership. These committed students represent our core values - respect, empathy, and integrity - through outreach projects that nurture strong community connections.
A highlight of their efforts has been the ongoing visits to Henshaw Court, where our Nurture Ambassadors spend quality time with residents through shared conversations and playful activities. Games like Pictionary spark joy and offer a fun, engaging way to explore generational differences, fostering mutual understanding and friendship across age groups.
Within school, the ambassadors lead by example - advocating for emotional wellbeing and promoting a culture of kindness and inclusion. They show that a nurturing environment helps all children grow in confidence, resilience, and self-worth.
As active participants in both school life and the wider community, our Nurture Ambassadors continue to build valuable life skills: strong communication, initiative, collaboration, and empathy. These experiences shape thoughtful, responsible young people with the belief that care and connection can truly change lives.
