Year 5 Cricket Tournament

On Thursday 21st of May Year 5 were lucky enough to go to Arden Hall and compete against other schools in games of cricket, with a trophy as the prize. Year 5 were grouped so the numbers would be fair. One group (also known as the A team) was made up of children that the year 5 teachers thought they had the most potential. Every team played at least 3 games, either against other schools or our school. The schools we were competing against included: St Marys & St Margret's, Smiths Wood, Windy Arbour and many more schools. Everyone tried so hard! Our final results came in and we found out the A team (only the A teams get a place) came 5th! Well done! The winners of the cricket festival were… St Marys & St Margret's!
